Why Do You Need It?
Leak
Keep a watch on your pool’s water level. The best way to do this is to mark the water level overnight, and if you see a major change in the morning, it’s time to call the pool contractor.
Old Equipment
Pool equipment needs to be refurbished now and then. The major parts should be changed every few years. This includes pool equipment like the pool filter, pump, and plumbing to keep your pool well maintained.
Dated Design
Tired of the decade’s old pool design? Remodeling your pool to match the aesthetic of the rest of the house is a good reason to call in a pool remodeling service.
Worn Off Or Damaged Material
Over the years, pool material become damaged; tiles, lighting, and decking are all good examples of this. They may have been broken or just the usual wear and tear, it’s important to replace broken materials as soon as you notice them.
How To Do It?
Drain The Pool
Draining a pool can take up to 6 hours for home pools. The pump is lowered to the pool floor and a pipe carries the water out.
Chip It Out
The floor, including the tiles, is chipped out. And new tile installation is also done immediately after the chipping process.
Tiling
You can choose your favorite floor colors, patterns, and materials in the tiles, and the process begins by applying the grout.
Setting the Surface
Construction trucks mix the plaster and pebble right at the site, to get the amount and consistency of the mixture right. Then, large hoses are used to pump the mixture into the pool.
Pebbles
The pebble is applied and then the pool surface is acid washed. The process usually takes only a few hours.
Filling It With Water
The homeowner should be present for this step. The water must be filled up halfway and cannot be turned off until the pool is full. This step is to avoid any lines forming in the pool.
Chemical Startup
Depending on whether pebble or plaster has been used, the chemical startup can now take place. The process is the same, but with plaster; one session takes a few days rather than hours with the pebble. The process takes longer due to the sensitivity of the plaster and getting the pH levels right.
